Our firm’s name, “IP Blue” Patent & Law, originates
from the longstanding proverb in Korea, “청출어람(Cheongchuleoram)”.

While the proverb contextually means that a pupil outdoes his master, its literal meaning is that the blue color that is obtained from its raw material, a type of herb, is deeper than the original blue color of the herb. We intend to keep the spirit of that proverb, by naming our firm “IP Blue”.

Intellectual property (IP) such as patents, designs, trademarks, etc. emerges from client’s ideas. However, the values thereof vary widely depending upon which agent(s) clients meet.
